Iowa State Horticultural Society Honor Award

The Honor Award is presented to those who have made a conspicuous and outstanding contribution to Iowa Horticulture.
Eligibility is contingent upon the individual having previously received the Society's Certification of Merit Award and upon continuing
horticulture contributions. A medallion, certificate, and record of achievement is presented to each recipient.

The Iowa State Horticultural Society Special Honor Awards

The Special Honor Award is given only when the Society feels an individual has contributed extraordinarily to the
promotion of horticulture in Iowa and their efforts elevate them above and beyond the standards set forth in the bylaws for other awards.
In the ISHS's history, this award has been bestowed upon only nine individuals.
